Hindi Verb Group FinderThe "Hindi Verb Group Finder" is a tool developed in 2011 as a result of the Ph.D. research titled "Automatic Identification and Analysis of Verb Groups in Hindi" carried out by Narayan Kumar Choudhary under the supervision of Prof. Pramod K.S. Pandey and Dr. Girish Nath Jha at Centre for Linguistics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. This tool takes as input the PoS annotated data in the IL-PoST framework (get sample data). The output gives the text back with the verb groups marked with a boundary and along with a tag that has the information about the tense, aspect and mood of the verb group. It also finds out whether the verb group is in passive voice and if it contains a compound verb construction. The labels are marked in a specific pattern (get the pattern details). |
